The 2nd Annual Washington Heights Jazz Festival. March 8 – 10. This neighborhood focused, family friendly event returns. 3 days, 3 venues, 13 bands (featuring uptown musicians). Friday, March 8 at Kismat, 603 Ft. Washington Ave at 187, 7:30 (free); Saturday March 9 at Le Cheile, 839 W. 181, at Cabrini – Jazz for Kids, 11:00AM, then 9 consecutive bands until 11:00PM ($10/set); Sunday, March 10, Jazz Brunch at Kismat, noon (free), then Happy Hour at 181 Cabrini, 854 W. 181 at Cabrini, 5:00 (free). All venues accessible. Jazz Festival Art Show opens at Le Cheile Tuesday, March 5.
