Inwood Hill Park Arts, Culture & Fun: Watercolor Landscape Painting
August 13 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join Parks’ Arts, Culture & Fun for a watercolor landscape workshop in partnership with Seeds of the League. Artist Ian Gabriel will lead the workshop where you will learn the art of painting the landscape in watercolor. All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome.
Seeds of the League is the Art Students League’s community program.
The workshop is outdoors. For your comfort, bring a mat, blanket, or folding chair to sit on. Feel free to bring your own watercolors, paper, water, and brushes. Supplies will be provided for those who need supplies.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register, and note that the class size is limited to 15 participants and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis on the day of the workshop.
Please note: This summer, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we’re offering outdoor programs with limited attendance so that you can have a safe and enjoyable time in parks. Based on New York State guidance for sports and recreation during COVID-19, we’ve put protocols into place to keep our participants and staff safe and healthy. We’re asking everyone to help us stay safe:
- Stay home if you’re sick
- Maintain six feet of physical distance between households
- Wear a face covering
- Wash your hands
Additionally, we encourage participants to bring their own hand sanitizer to our programming.
Note: Some programs may be modified, rescheduled, or cancelled due to weather, health, or safety concerns.
