Hispanic Society: Ornament Making Workshop

CLOTH (Community League of the Heights) and the Hispanic Society invite you all to join in celebrating the holiday season with an ornament making workshop on Tuesday December 12th at 3pm, led by Ysabel Abreu.

During this workshop, participants will paint wooden ornaments including decorative mini birdhouses. Following the workshop, participants are encouraged to attend the community tree lighting ceremony at Ilka Tanya Payán Park at 5pm.

Ysabel Abreu is an immigrant and self-taught artist based in Harlem. Since 2021 she has been part of the Grandscale Mural Project. Her murals deal with race and identity reaffirming themes.
