Esther Crow- Pollinator Puppet Making at Fort Washington Library. Esther and her puppet, Bernie the Bee, will assist kids in creating bee, bat and butterfly puppets and will teach about how these creatures pollinate many of the fruits and vegetables we eat, and how important they are to maintaining healthy ecosystems
Join us for a musical family workshop for youth and adults! Adults and kids ages 5-18 are invited to collaborate on a community composition, guided by Teaching Artist and composer Evelyn Petcher Brandes and Leadlights Ensemble violist Arthur Dibble.
Join us at Fort Washington Library for YoBOO, short for Yoga Bootcamp, a unique take on fitness for children. We combine the aerobic fun of bootcamp with the powerful breathing techniques of yoga to take the children on an energy rollercoaster. It’s a wonderful way to teach children that there is time for energetic fun and a time for quiet breathes.
