Using specially filtered telescopes, participants will get an up-close view of the Sun’s surface. This family-friendly program is a unique opportunity to explore astronomy.

Plant Swap & Crafting: Billings Lawn, Fort Tryon Park. Special Terrerium Crafting Session from 12PM - 2PM. Please bring any air-tight glass or see-through plastic containers that you may have — though a limited number will be available for anyone who doesn’t. Also, feel free to bring the following: terrerium loving plants, moss, pebbles, driftwood or anything else to help bring these terreriums to life!

At 3 acres large, this garden is the largest public garden with unrestricted access in New York City and is home to over 500 varieties of plants!
