Celebrate City of Water Day with Hila the Earth and a fun-filled kids’ show and hands-on workshop focused on nature, sustainability, and the environment! Through music, storytelling, and play, Hila brings environmental themes to life in a fun and accessible way. Following the show, families are invited to participate in a hands-on workshop featuring creative activities that encourage environmental awareness, stewardship, and a love of the natural world.

Swap plants, cuttings, supplies, and your best plant tips & tricks. We will be coming with cuttings, potting soil, and plastic pots (while supplies last) so even if you have nothing to swap yourself, feel free to stop by.
Volunteer with NYC Parks for Trees Count at J. Hood Wright Park. You will receive a tote bag with all the materials needed to count trees. After a 30-minute training session, you’ll split up into different zones within the park to start counting trees. Registration is required.
