The Lenape Theatre Collective EAGLE PROJECT performs a musical and immersive retelling of a Lenape creation story of Turtle Island in Inwood Hill Park at the Hudson River–where the landscape has not changed for hundreds of years. EAGLE PROJECT will offer a blessing while acknowledging and celebrating the island of Mannahatta. Conceived by Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape theatre artist\, Opalanietet\, A LENAPE CREATION STORY features text that is centuries old along with new music by Oneida Nation and Ojibwe composer\, Danielle Jagelski of Renegade Opera/Simmer Arts.
