DESCRIPTION:Join NYRP for a free community celebration of North America’s largest native fruit: the beloved pawpaw and native trees \nFeaturing a pawpaw sapling giveaway\, park tours\, music\, community partners\, participant-powered smoothies made with our bike blender\, and a workshop and talk about pawpaw propagation. \n11:00 AM – Pawpaw propagation workshop led by the “Pawpaw King of Brooklyn\,” Reza Farzan → no  seats available f\, but you can still sign up for the waitlist\n12:00–4:00 PM – Tabling\, including bike blender smoothies  (until they run out)\n1:00–3:00 PM – Free pawpaw tree giveaway — Advance registration is full\, but  at 2 PM\, trees will be available for walk-up recipients on a first-come\, first-served basis while supplies last. Please arrive around 1pm to join the waitlist.\n2:00 PM – Pawpaw presentation from permaculture expert and regional authority Dale Hendricks\nPlus music and community partner activities! \nThe event will be open to the public\, with registration encouraged.
