The designs of our local artist Judith Raices, have been seen on clothing, bed sheets, drapery, area rugs, paper goods, cosmetic packing and dinnerware. She is a founding member of the Graphic Artist’s Guild Textile Disciple and teaches how using a signed contract for your work contracts is vital. Exhibit closes June 28.
212-568-8304, call for hours. Through April 29. Please join us as we meet this neighborhood husband, father and doting grandfather who has spent a lifetime as an artist, pianist, composer, and poet. The exhibit features twenty-two paintings, each containing one letter of the Hebrew alphabet surrounded by characters from his semi-imaginary reality of figures and objects that show up in is other watercolors as well. He states, “The design of the letter itself is an inspiration or perhaps the letter has some symbolic or unconscious meaning.”
