Join us on Friday, December 12 at 7:30pm for worship, an important speaker and a conversation about gender, gender language and sexuality.

*Speaker during service: Eliana Rubin, NY Education & Training Manager at Keshet, which works for the full equality of all LGBTQ+ Jews and our families in Jewish life

*Intergenerational conversation after service about gender, gender language (including pronouns) and sexuality.

Beth Am – The People’s Temple 1950-2025 75 Years of Memories

An exhibition about Beth Am, The People’s Temple which was founded in 1950 in Inwood by families who wanted a Jewish spiritual home and Hebrew school. A community formed to pray together and celebrate life.

Prelude Opera presents a delightful new staging of Engelbert Humperdinck’s classic opera for children, Hansel and Gretel. The one-hour production presents the fairy tale in English, sung by professional opera singers and accompanied by piano and the Leadlights String Ensemble. In the Shrine’s retreat room in case of rain.
