Spring Tardeada
Saturday May 10th, 2025 | 2 – 6pm | Audubon TerraceHelp us welcome the spring season at the Hispanic Society Museum & Library! Throughout the afternoon you can visit the galleries to see our current exhibitions and enjoy live music and art-making workshops artists on the terrace.
From 2-6pm, all exhibitions will be on view, including Out of the Closets! Into the Streets!: New York City’s Pride March 1975-1976; Adriana Varejão: Don’t Forget, We Come From the Tropic; Gregorio Luperon High School Student Exhibition: L@s Mezclad@s at the Hispanic Society.
At 2pm, 2023 NYSCA Artist Fellows Maria Luisa Portuondo Vila and Aurora De Armendi Sobrino will lead an art-making workshop in which participants will have the opportunity to create clay sculptures inspired by their most significant memories of trees.
At 4pm, Ysabel Abreu will lead a ceramics workshop while Annette A. Aguilar & Stringbeans Quartet performs Brazilian & Latin Jazz with a special guest appearance by Bean Bloco and members of Harlem Samba. |
