Holiday Concert by the Filomen M. D’Agostino Music School

The Filomen M. D’Agostino Greenberg Music School is dedicated to helping people study music while addressing the challenges posed by vision loss. The concert, featuring the school’s adult students, will present vocal, piano, instrumental, and choral music.

The Filomen M. D’Agostino Greenberg Music School (FMDG Music School), founded in 1913, has garnered high regard for its instruction, performances, and teacher training. We also serve as a resource to music educators and performers nationwide as one of the leading providers of large print and braille music.
The Majesta Chanters and St. Frances Cabrini Shrine present a concert version of the rarely-performed Gregorian and Ambrosian chant sung at Mother Cabrini’s canonization. One performance only, on Mother Cabrini’s feast day!
The talented Michele Garzo returns to the Shrine for another outstanding performance. On Sunday, November 5 he will play music of Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Scarlatti, Chopin and more! Admission is by donation
The Manhattan Borough Historian returns to the Shrine with oral histories and poetry about the effect of the pandemic on New Yorkers, especially within immigrant communities. Thursday, October 26 at 6:30pm. Free.
