HVG Performing Arts Group welcomes Trio Alti to The Lounge on Sunday, May 19 at 5 pm. Both Violinist Rebecca Fischer and violist Jessica Thompson have performed here in past seasons, and they are joined by Copland House cellist Alexis Pia Gerlach. The program includes string trios by Franz Schubert and Ludwig van Beethoven, alongside Lies You Can Believe In by the award-winning composer Missy Mazzoli.

Individually, these musicians are major figures in the chamber music world, with decades of stage time with acclaimed ensembles including the Chiara Quartet, Daedalus Quartet, Trio Solisti, Concertante, and Musicians from Marlboro. Incidently, each of the three live within a block of Hudson View Gardens. They’re coming together as a trio for the first time, right here at The Lounge.
