Heights Perspective Collective’s first exhibit, Uptown Perspectives, is a collection of works that show a love for the quirky or beautiful parts of the artists’ neighborhoods, Washington Heights & Inwood. The Collective will present two events with interactive artist talks at each venue.

The Brazilwood Trio, led by bassist Geoffrey Morrow, presents jazzy arrangements of familiar and lesser known songs by the great Brazilian composers of the bossa nova era, including Antôio Carlos Jobim, Ivan Lins and Djavan. The beautiful melodies, cool bossa nova grooves and energetic sambas are sure to elevate your mood. Along with Geoff on bass, this performance features Tim Bayless on piano, Joey ‘B’ on drums, cymbals and percussion and guest vocalist Barbara Lewin.
