NYC Educators for Palestine is hosting author & scholar Amanda Najib to discuss the divestment movement for DOE and CUNY educators. A fundraiser for Gaza Great Minds Foundation.

Light refreshments will be provided. 

In compliance with Word Up Community Safety guidelines, all attendees are encouraged to stay masked at all time.

Recirculation, a project of Word Up Community Bookshop, is located at 876 Riverside Drive (near 160th St.) in Washington Heights, NYC. You can take the 1 train to 157th St., A/C train to 163rd St., and the M4 and M5 to Broadway and 159/160th.

Washington Heights Community Choir: Winter Concert 2025

Join us this December for a free concert that celebrates the season through a diverse and engaging musical program. Our repertoire includes a centuries-old folk tune, a jubilant sacred work, a contemplation on the awe and wonder of a total eclipse, and a new choral mashup of music from the Muppet Christmas Carol, among other pieces. This concert promises an unforgettable blend of sacred and secular, traditional and modern, serious and whimsical. We’ll close out the show with a Winter singalong!

Admission is free ~ donations welcomed!
