Open Studio—Bloom: Floral Messages: Join us for a free art-making workshop and be part of our community ofrenda! Inspired by the marigolds of Día de Muertos and the symbolic language of flowers across cultures, create paper flowers dedicated to people, places, or traditions you wish to remember.  Your creations will become part of What We Carry Forward, the participatory ofrenda led by artist Devin Osorio and Tomorrow’s Ancestors for this year’s Día de Muertos at The Met Cloisters celebration.

Winged Wonders:  Come ready to look, imagine, and create! Drop in for free, hands-on family fun in both English and Spanish. Create art inspired by winged creatures, channel your inner flying being through dance, and meet falcons, hawks, and other birds of prey with an expert falconer.  Families with children of all ages and abilities are welcome; recommended for children ages 3–11 years. Materials are provided.
