Join poets Rayne Alarcio, AJ DiBetta, Leelah Holmes, Colleen Bąk, and spencer jude perez at Word Up for an evening of contemporary poetry exploring identity, intimacy, memory, digital culture, and coming-of-age in the twenty-first century. Through lyric, narrative, and spoken word traditions, these emerging writers offer work that reflects on relationships, belonging, self-discovery, and the stories we tell about ourselves.

This week we will screen " To Kill a Mockingbird" based on the best-selling Pulitzer Prize novel by Harper Lee. The film follows lawyer Atticus Finch in Depression -era Alabama educating his children against the Jim Crow laws while defending a black man who is wrongfully indicted for the rape of a white woman.
