Morris-Jumel – Undocumented Women’s Fund Feminist Film Series: Back to the Commons

The Undocumented Women’s Fund will screen documentaries in Roger Morris Park as part of their bilingual (Spanish/English) Feminist Film Series. This year, the series takes on the slogan: “Back to the Commons,” as a means to explore practices of common-ing through a feminist lens and envision collective futures beyond austerity politics and neo-liberal enclosures.
The theme on Friday, August 25 will be trans-local care chains. As part of this program, the Undocumented Women’s Fund will screen a set of documentaries, invite guest speakers to share reflections from their own involvement in these struggles, and facilitate a group conversation among attendees.
Doors open at 7PM and documentary screenings will begin at sundown. Food, drinks, and merchandise will be available for sale. $10 suggested cash donation for entry.
