Fort Tryon Park Conservancy: 2026 Scandinavian Music Festival Day 2
Fort Tryon ParkScandia Chamber Orchestra performs at the 2026 Scandinavian Music Festival for its second concert at at Billings Lawn in Fort Tryon Park. This free afternoon performance, under the direction of Dorrit Matson, highlights Scandinavian orchestral works, including music by Lars-Erik Larsson, Johan Helmich Roman, Frank Foerster, and Josefine Opsahl.

Our Saviour's Atonement Lutheran Church 178 Bennett Ave., New YorkMeditative Mondays is a unique experience combining a guided meditation with a live performance of music at Our Saviour’s Atonement. We'll pair the meditation goal of self reflection with an iconic piece by “mystical minimalist” composer Arvo Pärt. We’ll perform Spiegel Im Spiegel, which means Mirror In Mirror, composed in Pärt’s “tintinnabular” style consisting of a lyrical melody and spare, “bell-like” accompaniment and John Cage's piece In a Dream.
