United Palace: ADCA Spring Concert. The 16th annual spring show produced by the Association of Dominican Classical Artists and featuring the Washington Heights Community Conservatory, Gregorio Luperon High School Orchestra, and PS 115 Ensemble.
Hudson View Gardens Performing Arts Group presents an evening of jazz with the Randal Despommier Quartet at The Lounge at HVG, celebrating the release of South – a New Orleans-roots record – and new tunes and arrangements including poetry in Farsi. Appearing with the group are bassist Kelsey Mines, drummer Jay Sawyer, and guest vocalist Mahya Hamedi. The audience is invited to meet the performers at a post-performance wine reception.
Meditative Mondays is a unique experience combining a guided meditation with a live performance of music at Our Saviour’s Atonement. We'll pair the meditation goal of self reflection with an iconic piece by “mystical minimalist” composer Arvo Pärt. We’ll perform Spiegel Im Spiegel, which means Mirror In Mirror, composed in Pärt’s “tintinnabular” style consisting of a lyrical melody and spare, “bell-like” accompaniment and John Cage's piece In a Dream.
NoMAA presents Berta Moreno, a multi-awarded jazz saxophonist, composer, bandleader & educator from Spain, at the Cabrini Greenspace. With an extensive career, she has been touring and performing as a bandleader and sidewoman in some of the leading jazz festivals. She is deeply involved in the Jazz, Latin, and World Music scene.
Melting Pot Jazz from Jazz Wahi is an annual series of five free, family-friendly concerts in June celebrating immigrants’ influence on American jazz. Concerts take place on the lawn at St. Frances Cabrini Shrine in Washington Heights, or indoors if it rains.

A transparent look at discovery from his debut album, One Lover Leaves. Reflecting on inspiration, O'Dowd shares honesty with every line, exploring the destructive and complex nature of love.
