The Inwood Pumpkin Pageant will return to beautiful Isham Park on November 1st for its 13th edition. Bring your carved jack-o-lantern to the park the night after Halloween and we will light them up for a family-friendly community display. Vote for your favorite designs to see if they will win the coveted Blue Ribbon! For older kids, pumpkin smashing starts at 7:30 pm as we prepare the rotting gourds for composting, keeping them out of the landfills.

Yiorgos has carefully selected works from several periods of his creative life, including Geometric Landscapes in a riot of color and pure Abstractions in black and white. From Greek villages to industrial skylines, from sere mountains to turgid seas, these selections demonstrate his curiosity and wide-ranging vision. STILL ALIVE: Seeing friends in Gaza. Portraits, as they see themselves. Malak. Hind. Adel. Nabil. Heba. Mona. Mohammed. Sobhi. These are some of the people at the heart of Still Alive—friends in Gaza whose lives have become closely connected with people in Inwood. The exhibition brings their photographs into the gallery at a scale we rarely give to the images people share in everyday life. Made by them or with their participation, the portraits show people as they have chosen to be seen.
