Inwood Art Works presents HOWL! — Allen Ginsberg at 100. Composer/Reader Jerome Kitzke will honor the American poet Allen Ginsberg in his Centennial Year by eading his seminal poems Howl and Footnote to Howl as well as reading other Ginsberg poems Kitzke set to music over the last 38 years, including Hum Bom!, Sunflower Sutra, and Song. Each of those readings will be followed by audio recordings of the compositions Kitzke made.

For one special evening, creators Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes of the Tony Award-winning In The Heights join us for an intimate conversation at The People's Theatre, moderated by Executive Artistic Director Mino Lora. Ahead of New York City Center's gala production of In the Heights, they will revisit the musical's journey from Washington Heights to Broadway and its lasting influence on American theatre and popular culture.
