Melting Pot Jazz from Jazz Wahi is an annual series of five free, family-friendly concerts in June celebrating immigrants’ influence on American jazz. Concerts take place on the lawn at St. Frances Cabrini Shrine in Washington Heights, or indoors if it rains.
Magpie Duo (MOSA directors Lauren Conroy and Matthew Schultheis) present their first ensemble concert at Our Saviours Atonement: a rich contemporary program of solos, duos, and trios that explores the links between artists and their mentors, friends, and musical styles of the Western classical canon.
