Dr. Alldred will present research on the development of ecosystem services, including nitrogen-removal processes that improve local water quality, during restoration of the wetlands in the Living Shoreline at Sherman Creek, with a guided tour of the Sherman Creek Living Shoreline.

    Sherman Creek Educational Tour. In preparation for City Nature Challenge (4/24-4/27), join NYC Parks staff on a hike around Sherman Creek to explore the diversity of spring wildflowers. Volunteers will learn how to identify these plants and how to make iNaturalist observations of any other signs of nature you find along the way.
