Fort Tryon Park: Creative Women Walk!

Join the Creative Women Entrepreneurs community for our very first Creative Women Walk!

We’ll explore Fort Tryon Park in Upper Manhattan together, taking in the Hudson River overlooks, historic architecture, and lush gardens, while enjoying casual conversation and connection.

After the walk, those who wish can continue on to The Met Cloisters, located right inside the park. Admission is pay-what-you-wish for New York residents (bring your NY ID).

This is a relaxed, no-pressure way to meet fellow creative women while moving, chatting, and discovering one of NYC’s most beautiful parks. Bring comfy shoes, a water bottle, and your curiosity… we’ll take care of the good company! Confirmed RSVPs will receive our meeting location one day before the walk.

We welcome artists, makers, designers, writers, film and media makers, product creators, event planners, marketers, educators, and musicians to join us.

Originating on 16mm film and shot over the course of 10 years, this visual narrative starts at the Holland Tunnel and journeys to the Garden State Parkway, transforming the camera’s eye into an exquisite ordering of space, time, and meaning. Inspired by Robert Frank (and this artist’s own previous failures), My Garden State is an attempt to bring beauty and understanding from even the most inauspicious aspects of our world.
