Back to the Commons: A Feminist Film Festival

For the third year in a row, we are excited to present our outdoors bilingual (Spanish/English) Feminist Film Series. This year, the series takes on our March 8th slogan: “Back to the Commons,” as a means to explore practices of common-ing through a feminist lens and envision collective futures beyond austerity politics and neo-liberal enclosures.

Each of our screenings will center around a different theme. During the events, we’ll screen a set of documentaries, invite guest speakers to share reflections from their own involvement in these struggles, and facilitate a group conversation among attendees.

Last but not least: we would have drinks, food from local vendors, and merch for sale (bring cash!). The entrance will be donation based–nobody will be turned around for lack of funds. Save the dates and spread the word!
