Buunni Inwood: SNENiE

Join us on Friday, September 20 at 7:30pm for an evening of music with Dominican singer SNENiE!

With her magical harmony and mysterious lyrics that mix layers of vocals and guitars, SNENiE is a dominican singer/songwriter making a name outside the island with her honesty. In 2020, after the release of her EP “Aunque no lo parezca”, she became one of the most beloved treasures of the current Caribbean music, unveiling a fresh sound that is born from an intimate chat between vitality and nostalgia. Her first song “Florecer” reached over 500,000 organic plays and “Nubes” (first single from the EP ‘Aunque no lo parezca’) was among the 50 Most Viral songs in the Dominican Republic on Spotify.

Her music has been recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine, Spotify US, Spotify Mexico, Spotify Germany, among others.

During the summer of 2023 she released her long-awaited first album “Perla Rosa”. A project that travels between folk and soul, highlighting vulnerability, inviting us to embrace imperfections and the importance of being present.

She has shared stages with artists such as Alex Ferreira and Camilo. She had her first concerts in Madrid, Spain and Mexico City during the summer.

Last fall she supported artist Vicente García in his Mexican tour visiting several cities around the country.

She was recently recognized/nominated as a new ‘Alternative Music’ artist at the Dominican Republic’s most important Art Awards, Los Premios Soberano.
