Our yearly Bach by Candlelight program offers a contemplative approach to the music of the great master, J.S. Bach, featuring House of Time’s signature versions of his eternal classics under soothing candlelight. Take a respite from the city’s hectic pace and let the meditative atmosphere set the stage for new thrills.

HVG Performing Arts Group Presents: Award-winning violinist Karisa Chiu with pianist Zhu Wang

On Sunday, February 23 at 5 pm Hudson View Gardens Performing Arts Group welcomes violinist Karisa Chiu with violinist Zhu Wang in recital at The Lounge at HVG. Chiu is winner of the Isangyun Violin Competition, earned top accolades from the Menuhin and Leopold Mozart competitions, and has performed at the Ravinia and Aspen Music Festivals, among others.

Fresh off her Artist Diploma recital at Julliard, her program features violin sonatas by Debussy and Fauré, Schubert’s “Rondo Brillant” and works by Sibelius and Cyril Scott.

The Spring 2025 concert season at The Lounge has just been announced. It includes Grammy award-winning saxophonist Miguel Zenón with HVG’s own Jason Yeager;  members of the Weiss-Kaplan-Stumpf Trio in individual recitals and another one of HVG’s own: pianist  Evelyne Luest with her trio, ThEMA Ensemble. Jazz WaHi’s Saturday Happy Hour at 181 Cabrini presents the creative singer Erli Perez with guitarist Aidan Cotner (making his Jazz WaHi debut!).
