A transparent look at discovery from his debut album, One Lover Leaves. Reflecting on inspiration, O’Dowd shares honesty with every line, exploring the destructive and complex nature of love.

Having gained recognition as a poet, his work has been featured on Viceland, Business Insider, SF Guardian, and Jetzt. The Wake spans 15 years, with production commencing during the pandemic and concluding in the summer of 2025.
