Soundscapes for Hope – Renaissance to Contemporary
Award winning Flutist / Composer Yael Acher “KAT” Modiano with her Special guest will perform masterpieces by Orlando di Lasso, J.S. Bach, Telemann, and contemporary works by Acher-Modiano, Tofte-Jespersen and Andersen. Audiences will also be invited to join the spiritual, “Amazing Grace.”
Modiano’s flute and music is referred to as “evoking the spiritual realm more than the motions made there” by Gorman, CD Review- Guide to Records, American Record Guide. And “a unique phenomenon on a number of accounts…beautiful sine curves of sound that enrapture and illuminate our minds” by Phil’s Review, Atlanta Audio Club.
