Fall Fest at Sherman Shriek Park!
Join NYRP for Fall Fest on Halloween for an afternoon of FREE family-friendly fun, seasonal activities, community partners, and plenty of Halloween spirit!

Get creative with face painting, take part in the returning Fairy Quest, explore the park, and enjoy freshly pressed cider made with NYRP’s recently acquired cider press. There will also be special performances and two festive contests with prizes from local businesses:

12:30 PM: Pie Eating Contest 🥧
1:30 PM: People’s Theater Performance 🎭
2:30 PM: Costume Contest 👻

Pie Eating Contest: Sign up on the day of the event by arriving early and checking in at the stage. Participants must be 18 or older and will compete to see who can eat one whole slice of pie the fastest. The winner will receive a prize!

Costume Contest: Come dressed to impress! There will be three categories—adult, children, and group—with judging by a panel of NYRP volunteers. Winners in each category will receive a prize, with a runner-up prize also awarded.
