Movies at the Palace:   SUNSET BOULEVARD ~ THE COURAGE TO NEVER GIVE UP

A screenwriter develops a dangerous relationship with a faded film star determined to make a triumphant return. Starring William Holden, Gloria Swanson, and Eric von Stroheim. Directed by Billy Wilder. Written by Charles Brackett, Billy Wilder, and D.M. Marchman Jr. The movie runtime is 1 hour and 50 minutes.

But first, arrive early and let the curtain rise on a special live pre-show paying homage to the film’s enduring Broadway legacy! Broadway star Arielle Jacobs (In the Heights, Aladdin) will perform two of Norma Desmond’s iconic torch songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sensational musical adaptation, following a Broadway DJ set from Bilingual Broadway Collective. And that’s not all! We’ll also screen a selection of classic cartoons and host a raffle of movie memorabilia celebrating Sunset Boulevard and the unforgettable legacy of Gloria Swanson.

Doors Open: 6:30pm | Showtime: 7:30pm
