Word Up Community Bookshop is located at 2113 Amsterdam Ave. (& 165th St.) in Washington Heights, NYC. You can take the 1 train to 168th St and the A/C train to 163rd or 168th  St.

Dr. Syreeta Bond is the author of Unleashing Your Inner Bad B****, a compelling book that has garnered significant attention for its unapologetic and personable approach. Her work delves deep into developing a solid work/life balance, resonating with readers from all walks of life and sparking meaningful conversations about handling toxic work environments, gender & racial bias, and advocating for oneself.

Dr. Bond, with an illustrious 20-year career, is a recognized expert in the project management sector, collaborating with giants like Apple, Inc. and Barclays Bank. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, she currently resides in Austin, Texas. Not only has she held prestigious positions with the Project Management Institute in both Los Angeles and Dubai, but she was also the Chapter President for the National Society of Leadership & Success.

Dr. Bond’s academic prowess includes a Doctorate in Business Administration from Walden University, an MBA with a concentration in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and an undergraduate degree in Fashion Design and Retail Management from the Art Institute of Atlanta. In addition, her contributions to the field are easily accessible on platforms like Google Scholar.

When she isn’t contributing to the world of project management, Dr. Bond is the driving force behind Edgy Opulence Lifestyle Branding Co, a consulting firm designed to uplift businesses with innovative solutions.
