Hudson View Gardens Performing Arts Group presents an evening of jazz with the Randal Despommier Quartet at The Lounge at HVG

The quartet’s program celebrates the vinyl release of South – a New Orleans-roots record – and also includes new tunes and arrangements including poetry in Farsi. The Randal Despommier Quartet grew out of the New Orleans born-and-bred bandleader’s long-running duo collaboration with HVG’s own pianist Jason Yeager. Appearing with the group at Hudson View Gardens are bassist Kelsey Mines, drummer Jay Sawyer, and guest vocalist Mahya Hamedi.

The concert is open to the public; admission is $20 suggested donation ($15 for seniors/students; under 8 free) at the door. The audience is invited to meet the performers at a post-performance wine reception.
