The Heirloom Room: RIMA JEWELS
ArcXVI Senior Center 309 Audubon Ave, NEW YORK, NY, United StatesThe Heirloom Room is a social practice workshop devised by local artist Rosario Moore Arteaga and made possible through LMCC Su-Casa Residency, which explores topics of cultural legacy &inheritance through multiple means including collecting/llustrating proverbs, reading/writing poetry and craftingsterling silver jewelry works. Participants from the ARC XVI Senior Center will talk about their multi-media creations, process, and sterling silver jewelry. Their original poems will also be read aloud.
