This spring, from February 28-March 15, 2026, the New York City Children’s Theater will be bringing a stage adaptation of the beloved children’s book The Hula Hoopin’ Queen by Thelma Lynne Godin. Learn more about the stage productions here.
New York City Children’s Theater (NYCCT) is a nonprofit children’s theater that inspires young people’s imaginations and supports social and emotional growth through original theatrical experiences on stage, in schools, and in our community.
The Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra presents Storytime with the Symphony, a three-concert series in partnership with Word Up Community Bookshop. Each program features stories and music with thoughtful connections to themes familiar to children growing up in Washington Heights, with bilingual narration in English and Spanish. All performances take place at Recirculation, a project of Word Up Community Bookshop.
