Cabrini Shrine – Melting Pot Jazz: Jazz WaHi Composers Sextet
Jazz WaHi presents The Melting Pot Jazz Series, Thursdays in June, on the lawn at St. Francis Cabrini Shrine. A series of free, outdoor, family-friendly concerts celebrating the Immigrant’s influence on Jazz. Bring chairs, blankets, picnics. Indoors in case of rain.
This week we present the Jazz WaHi Composers Sextet – Five Washington Heights composers plus the winner of the 2023 Jazz WaHi Coposition Competition. Each will contribute original music to the performance.
