The Surrealist Art of Ruthy Valdez with bilingual poetry on the theme by Elddry Castillo. The artist states: “Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this exhibit carries a moral implication. Let us not lose sight of the importance of the natural world amidst our rapidly evolving digital landscape.”

No Name Presents: Comedy Goes to Court: A Book & Comedy Event

No name presents, Comedy Goes to Court, an event with music, comedy, discussion, and a signing of the new book, Comedy Goes to Court, from author Carl Unegbu.

There’ll be music from The Summer Replacements, comedy from Leighann Lord, Bob Greenberg, and Robert A. George, and a panel discussion on topics from the book with these comics, moderated by Mike Sgroi.

Hamilton Heights Neighborhood Social 2023

The 2023 Hamilton Heights Neighborhood Social will feature performances by Simon Chardiet Jazz Quartet and the Willie Mack Jazz Band, among others.

There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers (and veggie burgers) hot off the grill. Fun and games for the kids, including a face painter. Free and open to the public.

This event is sponsored by Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and is located on Convent Avenue between 145th and 146th Street.
