No Name Comedy/Variety Show producer Eric Vetter brings New York’s best established and emerging authors and storytellers to Word Up Community Bookshop in Washington Heights for their monthly series “No Name At Word Up Super Story Party”.

Super Story Party is curated and co-hosted by author/storyteller Michele Carlo, the author of FISH OUT OF AGUA: My life on neither side of the (subway) tracks (Citadel Press).

The show will also include a “Magic Hat Open-Mic” where audience members can signup for a chance at four minutes of stage time to share their own stories.

No Name Presents: Comedy Goes to Court: A Book & Comedy Event

No name presents, Comedy Goes to Court, an event with music, comedy, discussion, and a signing of the new book, Comedy Goes to Court, from author Carl Unegbu.

There’ll be music from The Summer Replacements, comedy from Leighann Lord, Bob Greenberg, and Robert A. George, and a panel discussion on topics from the book with these comics, moderated by Mike Sgroi.

Each No Name show @ the wonderful Word Up bookshop features a mix of some of NYCs best comics, storytellers, and more.

We have returned to our live, in person shows with some Super Story Party editions! This means some of New York’s best storytellers doing their thing uptown! Plus, you can drop your name in the hat, and if your name is drawn, you’ll receive 5 minutes of stage time. There will be trivia, stories, and even a dance break!
