UP Theater’s curated variety show is back with a special Halloween installment. MUSIC, GHOST STORIES, AND OTHER GHOULISH ACTS  Hosted by Your Master of Ceremonies, SCAM LIKELY!
Featuring the spooky talents of: James Bosley, Zephyr Caulfield, Cameron Mark Russell, Rik Walter, and more!

No Name Super Storyteller Party (May 2026)

On Tuesday,  May 5,  2026  No Name Comedy/Variety Show producer Eric Vetter and host Michele Carlo bring New York’s best established and emerging authors and storytellers including: Rachel Parenta, Kelli Dunham, Calvin Cato and Alexander Scott to the Word Up Community Bookshop in Washington Heights @ 7pm. for its monthly series “No Name at Word Up Super Story Party.

The show will also include a “Magic Hat Open-Mic” where audience members can signup for a chance at four minutes of stage time to share their own stories.

Admission is FREE, donations welcomed. Masks and proof of vaccination may be required. Word Up Community Bookshop/Libreria Communitaria is located at 2113 Amsterdam Avenue (corner of 165th Street) in Manhattan. Subways: A, C or #1 train to 168th Street (walk south to 165th St, turn left, then walk east to Amsterdam Avenue).

Word Up: No Name Variety Show (March 2026)

Hosted by Eric Vetter, No Name is a “workout show,” wherein talented performers are encouraged to play and try out new comedic or storytelling material. The audience is invited to hang out afterward to share feedback, shoot the breeze, and get on the mic themselves. Every third Tuesday of the month.

No Name Super Storytellers Party is hosted every first Tuesday of the month. 

Admission is FREE, donations welcomed. Masks are required.
