Sherman Creek: Educational Tour

In preparation for City Nature Challenge (4/24-4/27), join NYC Parks staff on a hike around Sherman Creek to explore the diversity of spring wildflowers. Volunteers will learn how to identify these plants and how to make iNaturalist observations of any other signs of nature you find along the way. Please bring water and a snack as well as your smartphone or camera! We will stay on trails and the hike will not be strenuous, but we will be walking for about an hour and a half, so please dress appropriately. If you do not know how to use iNaturalist, arrive 15 minutes early and we will show you how!

Meeting Location: 199th St and 10th Ave
Free — Registration is required: https://www.nycgovparks.org/reg/stewardship/19206
