Word Up Recirculation – Author Story Time Party: Amanda Najib, Fabienne Doucet, and J de la Vega

Join Word Up for a special story time with three authors! Amanda Najib, Fabienne Doucet, and J de la Vega will share their latest picture books about food, love, and strength. All three will read & share activities from their books Lana Makes Purple Pizza: A Palestinian Food Tale, Love Is Still Winning / El Amor Siempre Triunfa, and Wepa. This event is perfect for ages 4-8 years old!

This event is a $5 suggested donation ticket with 30 max attendees. Please register in advance.

In compliance with Word Up Community Safety guidelines, all attendees of this event are encouraged to wear a mask.

Recirculation, a project of Word Up Community Bookshop, is located at 876 Riverside Drive (near 160th St.) in Washington Heights, NYC. You can take the 1 train to 157th St., A/C train to 163rd St., and the M4 and M5 to Broadway and 159/160th.

Look, listen, sing, and have fun with Storytime! Join Met educators every Tuesday for picture-book readings in English and Spanish connected to objects in The Met Cloisters collection and to our uptown community. Recommended for families with children ages 18 months to 6 years.

Assistive listening devices with headsets or neck loops are available from the Admissions Desk in the Main Hall. We encourage you to bring your own headphones.
