Hebrew Tabernacle: HOME SICK HOME by artist Gal Cohen-Tal

During these unsettled times, local artist and peace activist Gal Cohen-Tal is sharing her emotion-filled artwork with the Armin and Estelle Gold Wing art gallery in an exhibition entitled HOME SICK HOME.

OSA: “I Dream of the Heights – Book Signing and Photography Pop-Up”

Photographer and Filmmaker Emon Hassan’s “I Dream of the Heights” is a book of dream-like photographs taken in Washington Heights, Manhattan, accompanied by short poems inspired by the images. https://www.emonhassan.com/idoth

Hosted at OSA, “I Dream of the Heights – Book Signing and Photography Pop-Up” offers a rare chance to connect with the author and immerse yourself in his evocative work inspired by Washington Heights.

Photos from this collection have exhibited at the Inwood Branch of NYPL. Emon is a regular contributor to The New York Times, with photographs published in major publications worldwide.

This curated evening celebrates the Heights’ vibrant character and invites attendees to own a piece of its narrative.

CORNERSTONE CHORALE: Winter Concert

The CORNERSTONE CHORALE will perform its Winter Concert, presenting  choral works of Eric Whitacre, Ben Allaway, Norman Luboff, and the Christmas Oratorio of Camille Saint-Saëns (for chorus, soloists, and ensemble). Soloists are Jane Thorngren, soprano; Jessica Vadney, mezzo; Cristóbal Arias, tenor; and Blake Austin Brooks, bass. The concert will be conducted by Music Director Richard Stout.
