GRAMMY®-nominated global music sensation Celtic Woman returns to North America in 2026 with their brand-new tour, A New Era, coming to the historic United Palace on Friday, March 20.
Celebrating their rich musical and cultural heritage with a fresh and contemporary spirit, A New Era marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the group’s 21-year journey. This breathtaking production blends the ensemble’s signature sound with fresh arrangements, exquisite harmonies, and world-class musicianship brought to life by sopranos Mairéad Carlin, Muirgen O’Mahony, Sean-Nós singer Caitríona Sherlock, and fiddle player Ciara Ní Mhurchú, joined by the Celtic Woman band and dancers.

Join Urban Park Rangers for Astronomy: The Winter Sky
Winter is a prime season for stargazing. The cold air clears the night sky of clouds and creates ideal conditions for seeing the stars, planets, and other celestial highlights.
This Urban Park Ranger led hike will take you through the forest to learn how to identify fungi. Participants will learn about the crucial role that mushrooms play in an ecosystem and how natural decomposition takes place. Join the Urban Park Rangers as we explore the sometimes stinky yet always necessary world of decomposition through the lens of the many mushroom species in our parks.
Historic New York: The Highbridge Water Tower
Join the Urban Park Rangers tour inside the iconic Highbridge Water Tower to learn about the history of New York City’s water supply and enjoy the panoramic views from the top of the 200 foot tower. Arrive between 1:00 p.m. and 2:45 p.m, to gain admittance. Registration is not required. Program will be held at the base of the water tower behind the Highbridge Recreation Center and Pool.
