Join NYC Parks and Council Member Carmen De La Rosa for a day of celebration. Spring is here and we are bringing all our activities outside to enjoy nature! We will have an obstacle course, jumbo games, arts & crafts, music, and much more!

This event is sponsored by Council Member Carmen De La Rosa.
This event is FREE and open to the public.

Entrance :West 171 Street & Amsterdam Avenue in Highbridge Park Registration ends on 4/25/26 at 12:00 PM

Highbridge Park: Tour the Highbridge Water Tower

Historic New York: The Highbridge Water Tower

Join the Urban Park Rangers tour inside the iconic Highbridge Water Tower to learn about the history of New York City’s water supply and enjoy the panoramic views from the top of the 200 foot tower. Arrive between 1:00 p.m. and 2:45 p.m, to gain admittance. Registration is not required. Program will be held at the base of the water tower behind the Highbridge Recreation Center and Pool.

Grab a blanket and come enjoy a movie in a neighborhood park or playground! This summer, NYC Parks and The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment will host family-friendly movie showings across the five boroughs.

Adaptation of the hit musical about New York bohemians. Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal, Rosario Dawson, Jesse L. Martin.

Rated PG-13
The following movie has been rated PG-13. Some material may not be suitable for children. The film should be investigated further by parents before they let their younger children attend.

Movies begin at dusk. This event is FREE and open to the public. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, the screening may be canceled. The decision to cancel the event will be made prior to the screening and will be promptly posted on our website.
