Join Hike the Heights for an educational hike through Highbridge Park (10am-12pm) as we celebrate the 5th City of Forest Day. Starting location: Sunken Playground on Edgecombe Avenue

During the hike we will discuss basic tree identification, look for plants that can be foraged and its benefits, as well as a trail clean up.

The hike will convene at the Inaugural New York Restoration Project (NYRP) Paw Paw Festival at Sherman Creek Park (12-4pm)

All supplies will be provided – gloves, grabbers and trash bags. We encourage you to bring supplies if you have them. This hike is open to all ages. Youth 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Please BYO water and dress for the weather! We will have a first aid kit, bug spray and light snacks.
