Inwood Art Works presents Stories Between Keys

A Community Concert featuring Poetry and Piano

Richard Strauss’s music played on piano, underscoring the recitation of Lord Tennyson’s poem, Enoch Arden. Performed by Christopher Douglaston Ryan and Victoria Schwartzman.

Intermission

Second Act: Chopin Ballade no.1 for piano solo, followed by Dmitri Shostakovich’s Aphorismsplayed on piano, juxtaposed with short poems written by Daniil Kharms. Performed by Lori Funk and Victoria Schwartzman.

Bring your family and meet your friends to enjoy an afternoon community concert. All are welcome!  Reception with light snacks and beverages following the performance.
