Join the Hispanic Society for an outdoor screening of Blancanieves (Spain, 2012). Winner of 10 Goya Awards, including Best Film, Blancanieves is a contemporary silent film retelling the story of Snow White set in 1920s Andalusia. The program begins at 6pm with a special pre-show live performance of THREAD by Kinesis Project dance theatre, followed by the film at 7pm.
Join us for Sound Meditation, a guided, meditative sound experience, This 45-minute sound bath journey is the perfect way to slow down, unwind from the week and reconnect with you. A range of resonant instruments – including chimes, gongs, drums, etc. – will be played during this experience. This is an invitation to listen, receive, and notice what happens – allowing yourself to experience sound in a way you haven’t before.
Cosme, live at Buunni: Cosme, Join Cosme, the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter behind the Spanish adaptation of "Lo Arriesgo Todo" by Bruno Mars, as he premieres his debut solo album BRUJO in New York City. This intimate, acoustic performance will feature Latin alternative soundscapes weaved into an indie representation of pop, rock, and ballads.
