An Adults-Only Masquerade & Fundraiser
Join us for the 4th annual Spooktacular Soiree, and help us raise critical funds for arts programming, new instruments, and art supplies for all of our students in every grade. Meet and hang out with other 187 parents while enjoying music, drinks, and hors dʼoeuvres. Costumes and/or masquerade attire are encouraged but not required!
For parents and supporters ages 21+
Get ready for an early evening of comedy for a cause as comics from Upright Citizens Brigade, Comedy Central, and Conan, take the stage to fundraise for The People’s Fridge at Word Up. Bring a non-perishable food item as admission for a night of comedy, community, and canned goods.

$5 suggested donation + a can (or other non-perishable food items)
Recirculation, a project of Word Up Community Bookshop, is located at 876 Riverside Drive (near 160th St.) in Washington Heights, NYC. You can take the 1 train to 157th St., A/C train to 163rd St., and the M4 and M5 to Broadway and 159/160th.
