THE 11TH ANNUAL 187 FILM FESTIVAL

There is nothing else like it in New York City, and maybe even the greater Universe as far as we know. It’s the 187 Film Festival, now in its 11th year, where students and families from Washington Height’s own PS/IS 187 create original films and engage in the art of visual storytelling. We’ve had over 500 films made in our time, with many going on to be featured in the New York City Public School Film Festival, Inwood Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, and more. This is community at its best, with the United Palace hosting the communal experience on Sunday, May 12th at noon.
