Dyckman Farmhouse – Silentwoods Collective: Crossing the Pond

Dance, be moved, and be merry this spring at the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum. Revel in the early Music of Colonial-Era Britain and America on period instruments by early music fiddling masters at the Dyckman Farmhouse, built circa 1784. Juilliard School graduates Alyssa Campbell, Rebecca Scout Nelson, Lydia Becker, and John Stajduhar join forces with Silentwoods Collective to blur the lines between fiddle music, country dances, and music of the court in their high energy and spirited program titled “Crossing the Pond.”

Since 2017, Silentwoods Collective has been building momentum as an organization focused on building community by making music and the arts accessible to all.

Silentwoods Collective is proud to present Crossing the Pond in partnership with Manhattan’s oldest surviving farmhouse – the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum, 4881 Broadway at West 204th Street, Inwood NYC, on Saturday May 13th at 1:00 p.m.

A special thank you to the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum for supporting and making this performance possible!
