Even when school’s out, our parks are still the city’s natural classroom! Bring your kids to parks throughout the city for Kids Week during mid-winter recess. With programs led by our Urban Park Rangers, kids will get to experience nature in a hands-on and fun way. Rangers will lead you to the best spots to view bald eagles.

Join the Feminist Bird Club of NYC for a beginner-friendly bird photography walk in Inwood Hill Park. Learn tips and tricks to enhance your birding and express your creativity. This walk will be slower paced and focused on photography, mainly of waterfowl, sparrows, and raptors. The starting and ending point will be the Seaman/Isham entrance to Inwood Hill Park. Dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes! Any kind of camera is welcome.
